A small bell.
A clear message.
Things break. Trust doesn't have to.
Clarity shouldn't be complicated.
When a service goes down, your users want to know three things: what's affected, what you're doing about it, and when there's an update. They don't need a maze of dashboards or a perfectly polished excuse.
TidyStatus is a small, open-source project built around that idea. A calm place for service health, uptime history, and honest incident updates. Nothing more complicated than it needs to be.
Your services. Your responsibility. Your code.
We don't run a hosted version. There's no account to create on this site, no managed plan, and no customer infrastructure living here. You take the source and run it in your own environment.
That means you choose where the data lives, how the page looks, and which services it covers. It also means deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and security are in your hands.
Open by design
Read it. Understand it. Make it fit.
Ownership first
Your infrastructure and your data.
Honesty over polish
Good communication on the rough days, too.
A little family of useful tools.
TidyStatus shares the same spirit as TidyMetrics and NudgeKit: focused tools, understandable code, and room to make them your own.
The door is open.
